Teen Connection

Girl Board Member Application Process Revised

Are you between the ages of 14-18? Want to be the voice for girls? Ready for a leadership position? Then you should apply to be a girl board member.

Each year, associations select a teen Girl Scout to serve as an ex-officio girl member on the board of directors. As ex-officio members, these eight girls do not vote, but attend all board meetings, providing valuable input on a variety of issues.

Mission Romania

Girl Scout Ambassador Kati DeHaven has grand plans for her Gold Award Take Action project! She's purchasing a multi-passenger vehicle for use by the First United Methodist Association of Romania. Every Girl Scout member is invited to connect with the project by making a $1 donation.

What can a $1 do? $1 = bottle of water, $1 = burger/fries, $1 x each GSSWT member = more than enough for the people of Romania to enjoy church as a family!

Check out the Facebook page for more information.

Donations are tax deductible and can be sent to Canyon Lake UMC, 206 Flintstone Drive, Canyon Lake, TX 78133 (make checks payable to CLUMC with memo as Romanian Bus).
