2nd Annual Nonprofit Volunteer &
Career Fair 

You're invited to SANCouncil's 2nd Annual Nonprofit Volunteer & Career Fair, hosted by GSSWT. This event will be held at the Sally Cheever Girl Scout Leadership Center Wednesday, July 27 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. See additional details here

Reopen Monday, July 25

Save the Date for Service Team Training  

Service Team Training for volunteers will be held Saturday, August 13  from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at University United Methodist Church (5084 DeZavala Road, San Antonio, 78249). 


This training is for all existing and new potential service team members. For information, please contact your GO Team (210-349-2404/1-800-580-7247):

All Girls Invited to Join ...

the 2011-2012 PR Team

Girls age 5-17 with bright personalities are needed to help represent our organization throughout its 21-county jurisdiction as part of the council's Public Relations (PR) Team.

Are you interested in telling others in your community how great Girl Scouts is? If so, applications for the 2011-2012 PR Team will be accepted beginning July 15 through August 15. Current members of the PR Team do not need to re-apply (to check your PR Team status, contact Stephanie Finleon).

Applicants for the PR Team should be articulate, outgoing, willing to be called with very short notice, and have access to transportation to and from events. Girls with musical talent (e.g., singing, piano, etc.) are also encouraged to apply.
To apply, a parent/guardian must complete the 2011-2012 PR Team Application, available online through August 15.
Applications received after the deadline will not be considered until the next membership year.GS Trefoil

Following the application deadline, girls and their parent/guardian will be contacted for a short photo shoot and mock interview.

The 52nd National Council Session and Convention will be here before you know it and you are not going to want to miss out on a thing!

GSUSA has an action-packed agenda for the convention to kick off our next 100 years in Girl Scouting, including a History Conference, speakers and entertainers, unforgettable learning experiences and -- of course -- celebrations of our many accomplishments. Now is the perfect time to remember that special person who has made a difference in your life. Perhaps that super Girl Scout leader who made this past year extra special for your daughter. Memorials/Tributes contributions may be conveniently made online.
