All Service Unit Directors (SUD) are invited to attend It's Your Story -- Tell It! 2011 Service Unit Director Training Saturday, June 25, 2011, 8:45 a.m.-3:00 p.m.at the Sally Cheever Girl Scout Leadership Center Come to get the information you need to be the best SUD you can be! Facilitated by Mary Flanagan, Management Solutions Group, this session is open to girls 14 and older, volunteers, board members, and community members.During the past 18-24 months, GSSWT has received input from its members through town hall meetings, association meetings, and other girl and volunteer meetings on how to take our council to the next level. Join us to help prioritize future projects that will benefit girls and volunteers. Refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited to the first 75 -- RSVP by Monday, June 20.

Reminder -- Recognizing Excellence Staff Award Nominations due June 30 | |
The Recognizing Excellence staff awards will award up to six staff members each quarter in one of the following categories: customer service, commitment, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, and creativity and innovation.
Nominations from staff and volunteers for the second quarter will be accepted through Thursday, June 30 for awards presented in August 2011. A group of board members, led by CEO Anna Maria Chávez will select the award recipients each quarter. At the end of the year, one staff member will be selected as GSSWT's Best of the Best. - Friday -- 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
- 2nd Saturday -- 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
