May 11 -- Girl Scout Junior Troop 506Girl Scout Junior Troop 506 made and delivered 17 "no sew" blankets to the Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC) using their nut and cookie program proceeds for their Girl Scout Bronze Award project. The girls wanted to pick a project that helped children, and the CTRC offered a perfect opportunity since it treats children who have cancer. Troop 506 is happy knowing that each patient gets to pick out a blanket to use during treatment. The blankets are given to the child and/or family when treatment is completed. Have news to share?
