Recognizing Excellence Awards
| |
In 2010, for the first-time ever, a staff award program was created, Recognizing Excellence. Just as GSSWT recognizes its valuable volunteers, there are awesome staff members much deserving of recognition as well.
January 2011 awardees are:
- Kassaundra Escalera, Excellence of Creativity & Innovation
- Jean Larose, Excellence of Customer Service
- Christina Frazier, Excellence of Commitment
Read more about these awardees here! The Recognizing Excellence staff awards will award up to six staff members each quarter in one of the following categories: customer service, commitment, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, and creativity and innovation. Nominations from staff and volunteers for the next quarter will be accepted now through March 31 for awards presented in April 2011. A group of board members, led by CEO Anna Maria Chvez will select the award recipients each quarter. At the end of the year, one staff member will be selected as GSSWT's Best of the Best. Be sure to keep an eye out for staff doing something right! Get the Recognizing Excellence nomination form here!
