Greetings Fellow Riders and Enthusiasts,
I hope you had a chance to see that spectacular full moon last night. I attended "The Concert for the Cure," an annual music festival that raises funds and awareness for local cancer support programs. At the event we were able to see a beautiful moon rise framed by a couple of clouds producing heat lightning, causing most of the crowd to stare in wonder at the sky. The trip home down the coast with the moon over the water while astride the new Triumph Tiger Explorer will forever remain in my motorcycling memory.
Earlier today we had a customer stop in for a service on his Triumph Tiger 800 XC. I asked him how he was and he told me about knocking off a trip to Canada and back last Saturday. Riding over 750 miles in one day, he described traveling down a dirt road in the rain while watching the creek next to him rise and begin to enter the roadway. He decided to turn around, find some tarmac, and continue heading south from the border with no specific route, just home as his destination. I told him his trip sounded like a great adventure, and he stated he was now going to explore some of the iron butt routes. Riding all day can be great for the soul.
The point is, no matter what you ride or how far you ride it, the act of riding provides amazing benefits to the body and mind. So take advantage of every minute you have, make the best of it, and when you have the time get out and ride. I'll be out, two up, on Sunday morning. See you on the road.

Zero Emissions, Noise, and Heat A Review by Climate Central
It's hard to nail down what the best part of riding a Zero electric motorcycle is. It could be the freedom from soaring gas prices. It could be the silent ride that lets you enjoy the sounds around you. It could be the lack of pollution you contribute on the road. It could just be that they're a lot of fun to ride.
Michael Lemonick, an editor for Climate Central, had the chance to test out a Zero. Read the full article to find out what he thought about the ride, the company, and how it really affects the environment.
