Greetings!

Welcome to the February 2009 edition of Growth Capital News. This issue focuses on marketing and how to ensure your brand doesn't get lost in the shuffle during this challenging economic time.
Capital Conversations
Hennessey Capital is excited to announce the creation of Capital Conversations, a podcast and blog designed to help entrepreneurs navigate the ins and outs of growing their business. Hennessey Capital introduced the podcast series as part of its mission to educate entrepreneurs and small business owners on securing capital, managing cash flow and following best practices to keep their company's finances in order. According to Capital Conversations' host Mike Semanco, who is Hennessey Capital's President and COO and the 2008 Michigan Small Business Financial Services Champion of the Year, trusted advice is sought and needed now more than ever before.

"In such unprecedented economic times as we are facing now, current small business owners are seeking reassurance and strategic business advice," notes Mr. Semanco.  "There are also those I call 'closet entrepreneurs' who have been downsized or fear being downsized and are looking to pursue their own business ventures instead of seeking another opportunity in a corporate environment. We wanted to create a new vehicle that addresses both of these audiences; Capital Conversations, with a personal connection to listeners and blog visitors, lets us do that."

The first podcast is entitled, "Where Does My Business Fit?" and addresses the variety of small business financing options, including venture capital and SBA loans, available to small business.
