2012 is the Year of the Girl and in celebration, the Juliette's Boutique stores are having a contest for girls! Beginning August 1, we invite every Girl Scout, grades K - 12, to visit our stores and look through the Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting handbooks. These wonderful books were created for EVERY girl to have a colorful guide on her Girl Scout journey.

While in the store, girls will be entered in the contest and could win a Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for everyone in their troop!

See contest details and rules here and come celebrate the Year of the Girl with the Juliette's Boutique!

Basics in a Bag

Basics in a Bag Are BACK!

Basics in a Bag will help keep the girl in your life organized and in her proper uniform basics. Each "bag" contains all the uniform, insignia and book essentials to prepare your daughter for her Girl Scout year ahead. By purchasing Basics in a Bag, you save between 15% and 20% on uniform essentials. The only information you need when you come to our stores to pick up your Basics in a Bag is the troop number, vest, sash or tunic size, and the Journey book your daughter will need.

Click here for pricing and either call or visit your nearest Juliette's Boutique for more information.

Earn and Make Your Own Badge!

Girl Scouts has launched the super cool Make Your Own Badge website to support the Make Your Own Badge section of the Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting! Once you have completed the Make Your Own Badge requirements, visit this awesome website to design and order your very own Girl Scout badge. Showcase and celebrate the amazing skills you have developed in Girl Scouting!

P.S. Each badge comes with a personalized certificate honoring your achievements.

Troop Crests

Has your troop chosen a troop crest yet? In the early days of Girl Scouting, troop crests signified something unique about a troop. As more girls became Girl Scouts and more troops were formed, Girl Scouts began using numbers instead of crests, but girls can once again take part in the tradition of choosing their own troop crest to represent what they and their sister Girl Scouts stand for.

There are now 16 crests including the two original: White Rose and Carnation. A complete list of troop crests and their meanings can be found in the pages of your Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting
