Blade & Edge Special Event
Come skate with McKenna, the 2012 American Girl Doll of the year and your own special doll. Along with skating, you can have your photo taken with McKenna, have a spa time with your doll (get both your hair done and nails polished), and much, much more.

100-Year Anniversary
Sunrise Ceremony

Join us on March 12, 2012, as we welcome the Second Century of Girl Scouting with a Sunrise Ceremony. If you are unable to attend our event in Omaha, we have provided the entire ceremony for you here. Sunrise on March 12 is 7:37 a.m. CST (approximately). We are hoping that all Girl Scouts and alumnae across the globe will join together at one time for this inspirational and uplifting ceremony.

Where: Great Plains Service Center, 2121 S 44th Street, Omaha
When: March 12, 2012 from 7:15am - 8:00am
We will video tape the event and post it on our YouTube channel for Girl Scouts all over the world to enjoy. If you can video tape and send us a link, we will post all ceremonies on our website.
We have also created a Mayoral Proclamation for you use.

 Girl Scout Specialty Plate Proudly Display Your Girl Scout Green! Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is delighted to introduce the Girl Scout specialty license plate! You can share your love of Girl Scouting, the premiere leadership organization for girls, just by driving around in your car. In order for the new plates to be produced, the law requires that 500 applications be submitted, along with fees. In order to meet this requirement, we are encouraging everyone to purchase a custom Girl Scout plate for their vehicle. For details, FAQs and application, click here. |
 How can you get awesome prizes for attending Girl Scout programs? Simply bring your Pathways Passport with you as you attend Girl Scout programs and we will fill your passport with stamps. Fort Robinson Tree Planting

Gold Award Information
Spirit of Nebraska Gold Award interviews will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 (third Saturday of the month). Please note that anyone wanting to submit Gold Award proposals using the old requirements should submit their paperwork by March 15, 2012 AND have their interviews scheduled on or before April 14, 2012.
