Greetings!

We are excited to announce that we will now be using a Direct

Sale format for the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Beginning January 13, 2012, girls will have packages of cookies IN HAND to sell across the state. This means that girls will learn five essential skills -- goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, business ethics -- AND they will be actively selling during the entire program! It also means that customers will immediately have their favorite cookies!

For all the details, click here.

If you are participating in the 2012 Cookie Program and you have not sent us your intent form, please do so now.

Creighton University
Medical Center Needs You

Adolescence has been recognized as a key time in life in which young girls are at risk of becoming overweight. Creighton University Medical Center's Dairy Diaries project is recruiting 13-14 year old girls for a one-year study looking at the role dairy intake has on weight management. Watch their video. This study proposes that increasing the intake of dairy foods, which are easily accessible and nutrient-rich, will actually help reduce the risk of becoming overweight in these young girls. Adolescent girls in various weight ranges are needed for this study. See their flyer here and send an email if you would like to participate.
