Raise the Curtain, it's SHOWTIME!

GS Trip to New York City
Wake up in the city that never sleeps, travel to NYC with GSSN. While we are taking in all of the sights and sounds of the Big Apple, we will attend the world premiere of the new Cirque Du Soleil show, "Zarkana," at Radio City Music Hall! Before the curtain comes up, we'll participate in a live and interactive theater arts workshop with the creative team and cast members. Trip dates are September 30 through October 1, 2011. 1912-2012 Help us Celebrate 100 Years of Girl Scouting We are making plans to commemorate 100 years of Girl Scouting in the USA! Committees are being formed, ideas are being hatched and we are asking you, our Girl Scout members, to volunteer for this milestone celebration.
How can you get involved?? Please participate as a team member on one of our three steering committees: TROOP, COMMUNITY/SERVICE UNIT or STATEWIDE. There will be something for everyone to do and you will be part of the team setting the direction for the next 18 months of events, programs, activities, promotion, public relations, service projects, fund development and MORE!

Green Power Bike Festival

Save the date! Come to the first ever Green Power Bike Festival on Saturday, September 24 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at Stinson Park (67th and Center). Encourage your girls to learn life skills such as goal setting, money management and business ethics by participating in the 2011 Fall Product Program! Girls will discover how "Investing in Today" will lead to their "Success for Tomorrow" through enriching program activities. In addition, girls will earn fabulous cumulative recognition items and troops can earn significant start-up funds! The Fall Product Program is designed to be simple and flexible, allowing each girl to choose how she wants to participate. Troop Leaders and/or Fall Product Managers should complete the 2011 Fall Product Program Intent Form available here.
