caring for the environment fun and easy! We will learn the basics of gardening
and discover cool ways to reuse everyday objects what would otherwise be thrown

July 2 Lakeview Cabin, North
Platte Girl Scouts will be
exploring our outside world, earning new badges each day. Our day camp
experience will go through Thursday then you'll overnight in a tent with your
buddies.

Girl
Scouts of the USA Bringing "Brand" into the
Future
How the world looks at Girl Scouts
and how Girl Scouts look at the world is going to evolve beginning this summer
as GSUSA rolls out it's new branding and program initiatives. The
brand campaign will include a revision of the much beloved Girl Scout
trefoil and logo. We are excited about the new look and hope that
you share our enthusiasm. More details coming, but stay
tuned. Girl Scouts is the premiere leadership program in the country and
we will soon have new tools to tell our story.

Travel-loving
Volunteers Needed

If you would like to be part of a volunteer-driven, statewide travel
committee that will develop and implement amazing trips for Spirit of Nebraska
Girl Scouts, we want to talk to you! We
are currently putting together a team to represent all parts of our amazing
state. You will meet for the first time
in late summer and being planning upcoming travel programs. If you are interested in being part of this committee,

Visitors from Japan coming this Summer!

In August, Spirit of Nebraska
will welcome a delegation of Girl Scouts from Shizouka! Please let us know
if you would be interested in hosting or meeting our visitors during part of their time in
America. Watch for more information about our sister scouts from Japan and special events we will
