CookiesCookies Signal Spring Arrival

All of the hard work that went into the Girl Scout Cookie Program in January was quite apparent as cookies piled into statewide warehouse locations last month.  Buildings were filled to the brim and their doors were ever-revolving as parents came to load up their mini-vans for delivery.

Maybe it wasn't so obvious that spring is trying to peek its head over the horizon as temperatures fell and girls and troops felt the winter winds blow as they delivered close to 2,000,000 boxes to our generous cookie consuming communities.  Thanks to everyone who made our door-to-door program a success this year.

Cookie Booths open on March 13.  If you need flyers to promote your booth, please download from the cookie page on www.girlscoutsnebraska.org.

Our sponsor for this "in like a lion and out like a lamb" month is Dora the Explorer.  She is coming to Omaha Orpheum Theater March 17 and 18.  For chance to win tickets, read on...
