Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska recognizes that alumni are important to the vitality of our organization. You are the heart and soul of Girl Scouting because you have a connection to us that is rich with memories. 

It is our goal to provide each of you with meaningful opportunities that will help you feel that you are still connected to Girl Scouts.  One way for us to do this is to provide you with volunteer options that will be rewarding for you.  Below is a list of opportunities available to you over the next few months.

Belle Ryan Interest Project
Thursdays in March
6:00-7:00 p.m. for 4 weeks, Omaha
Belle Ryan Elementary School

Provide leadership for "Intro to Girl Scouting"

Girls are in grades kindergarten and 3rd

Goal is to start a troop in the school and secure a Parent Volunteer to lead troop

Daisy Troop Co-Leader
On-going, Lincoln (many troops to choose from)

Act as role model/mentor for girls in kindergarten and 1st grade

Schedule and staff troop meetings

Oversee activities and programs

Friday March 20
6:30-10:30 p.m.
Hot Shops Art Center, Omaha

Coat Check-take and return people's coats

Food & Drink-pass hors d'oeuvres or help serve a specialty drink

Auction Assistants-provide oversight to the silent auction and wrap and distribute artwork
