Registering for Programs
Individual Girl Registration
If you are registering as an individual girl, complete the Individual Girl
Event Registration form found in the Girl Scout Spirit of Nebraska program book
or located here, and send with payment to the service center hosting the
program/event. If not a currently registered Girl Scout, please add $10 for
membership to the program fees.
Troop Registration
To register for an event as a troop, complete the Troop
Event Registration form found in the Girl Scout Spirit of Nebraska program book
or located here Please also complete a Troop Event
Attendee Form for each event and send with your registration and payment to the
service center hosting the program/event.
Please list ALL attendees including all adults on the Troop
Event Attendee form. Be sure to submit information on any special needs or
allergies for attendees and t-shirt size, if a t-shirt is provided as part of
the program. You can make copies of the Event Attendee Form so that you can
have one for each event. This form provides the council with important
information so that we can adequately plan for each event. Be sure to make and
keep a copy for your own records.
Refunds
Refunds are only granted when: cancellations are submitted
prior to the registration deadline; there is a family emergency that prevents
someone from attending an event; or when the council cancels the event.
Payments
You may either mail or fax your registration form to the
service center that is hosting the event. If you fax your registration forms,
be sure to include credit card information for payment so that we may complete
the registration process. Addresses for each center are provided below.
Financial Assistance
Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska recognizes the need for
financial assistance for those who qualify.

G-force
is designed for girls in grades 6-12. You will notice a few exceptions below -
especially programs where the entire family is welcome and occasionally a mix
of different aged girls to keep things fun and interesting.

share this information with your friends and remember you don't have to be registered in Girl Scouts

Winter Survival Workshop
Junior/Cadette/Senior/Ambassador
Wear lots of warm layers to enjoy the wonders of winter at the
beautiful riverside Trails West YMCA camp. Participants will rock climb, learn
basic archery skills, practice winter survival skills and make their own
customized set of snow shoes for stomping around in wintery weather.

CSC is offering special campus tours at 3 pm for older girls who
are interested in learning more about campus life. Call the Guiding Star office
by Friday, Feb. 13 to preregister for the campus tour. Then grab your friends and come out to cheer
the Lady Eagles to victory in their game against Colorado's Regis. Arrive at 5 pm to make spirit posters to
display during the game.

Red Cross First Aid & CPR Certification Course
Cadette/Senior/Ambassador
The Girl Scout motto "Be Prepared" applies to many life
situations, including the readiness to deal with emergencies and disaster. The Red
Cross-certified instruction will lead participants through basic first aid
techniques and CPR for adults and children. Leaders may attend with their troop
to update their own certification. Completion of this course fulfills two
required activities for the Emergency Preparedness IP. Red Cross mandates that this course be for
7th graders and older.

participation patches are available at the game for $1.

Fort Robinson Tree Plant Overnight

Gather your friends and come spend a weekend at the beautiful
Fort Robinson. Here's your chance to make the world even greener. You can choose to tent camp or overnight in
the community center. Each troop will be responsible for providing own camping
equipment and tents. You will also need
to bring your own food for Friday evening meal, and Saturday lunch. Breakfast
on Saturday and Sunday and the evening meal on Saturday will be provided. If
you plan to outdoor cook, you will need to bring your own cooking equipment,
stove, and fire wood, or charcoal or propane. The water is furnished. NEBRASKA

Kiln Carving

Using a process called kiln carving, you'll cut a design out of
special kiln paper and glue it to the back of clear glass, then you'll decorate
the top with confetti, frit and stringer glass.
When it fires in the kiln, the paper "carves" your design into the
glass. You'll love the result!

Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. They meet a unique need for children by using
donated hair to create the highest quality hair pieces. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love
have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which
has no known cause or cure. The hairpieces help restore self-esteem, enabling
the children to face the world and their peers with confidence. Spirit of Nebraska is teaming up with
Joseph's College of Beauty and Great Clips to provide statewide, convenient
access for you to donate your 10 inch ponytail.

a huge difference in the life of a child!

Join us for the first-ever state-wide camp. Come meet sister Girl Scouts from across the state. This will be a great opportunity for you to pitch
your own tent or sleep in one ours. We will
provide the food, first-aid/CPR coverage, craft supplies. Bring your
Girl Scout smile and a willingness to meet new friends and have a blast!
