It's time for the September sale at all
of the Girl Scout stores in Nebraska. This
month, you get 15% off of all your Girl Scout merchandise (anything in the Girl
Scout catalog) and that's a lot of stuff.
Visit the store in the service center area near you to find out what
they have- you may be surprised.
Keep in mind, when you need items for
your entire troop, it helps if you call ahead and place an order. One big troop can wipe out an entire shelf of
sashes or vests and we want there to be plenty for everyone. Girl Scouts rule and our Girl Scout stores
are here to make your shopping experience a fun one.

Greetings!
Welcome to our very first, statewide
Spirit of Nebraska enews letter. This
email is going to more than 10,000 email addresses and if you are reading this,
it worked! Take a look at the
information contained within this enews letter as it will be important to your girls
and troops as you plan activities over the next few months. You will find a contest, discounts, programs
and information about our Girl Scout stores.
Our first Girl Scout Spirit of Nebraska
program book will be mailed to your door in the next few weeks, look for that
and more as we begin our first membership year as a united, statewide council. Enjoy.

Name the Newsletter

When we merged our five Girl Scout
councils together in May, we decided to create a statewide newsletter that will
have a new look, feel and name. Now we
need your help. Please enter our "Name the
Spirit of Nebraska Newsletter" contest.
The winning submission, be it from an adult or girl member or a troop,
will be awarded a very cool prize: a $100 Gift Certificate to Dairy Queen and your
picture(s) on the cover of the very first issue! WOW.
