Greetings!

While many of you have recouped from trudging around SHOT Show, Ashley and I took the long distance walking as part of our training. Yes, the girls of LBM are in training. Now, some of you may remember Ashley's 84-mile bike ride she did to raise money and awareness for cancer research back in 2009. Something about our younger generation in that they are actively involved with their communities and non-profits. I had to take my hat off to the kid, we were so darn proud of her during that ride. Well, she's at it again and this time she snookered me to join her. Ashley and I are Team Stormchasers for the annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer that will

take place in our Nation's Capitol on April 30th and May 1st. It's not the 39.3 miles that I find daunting, or the slow ache in my knee whenever I think of it, or the donations we need to raise, but that we are still without a cure to this horrific disease that does not just take our mothers, daughters and sisters from us, but leaves so many lives unfulfilled, unrecognized and forgotten.

So, while you are walking around the NRA show this year, think of Ashley and I walking around the beautiful monuments that recognize our Country's greatest leaders and please say a few kind words to all our female leaders that will never be because of this disease. We'd love your pocket change or any amount you can donate to the Avon Walk. Revision Eyewear Wins Ballistic Eyewear Contract for Canadian Air Force

Revision Eyewear has secured a $2.7 million contract with the Canadian DND to supply Air Force members with Ballistic Eyewear (BEW), also known as the Sawfly Spectacle System. The initial contract is to supply 33,000 kits and 40,000 additional lenses in 2011 with a 5 year option period. Revision's Sawfly Ballistic Eyewear was selected for its excellent ballistic and optical properties as well as the company's past performance record. Revision first won the BEW contract for Canadian land forces in 2003 and has supplied this eyewear through the 2003 - 2010 period.
