Welcome to Twenty-Ten! With the countdown now activated for SHOT Show, we at LBM are working with our clients to get press materials ready for a bunch of great new product launches. LBM is looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones this year. Ashley, our newest addition to the team, will be attending and working with our clients also. In this newsletter, our last before SHOT, we'll wrap up of our first survey on our services and announce our new survey geared specifically for writers and editors. Keep an eye out next week for our checklist to the exhibitors you MUST see at SHOT Show. While at SHOT, LBM will be "tweeting" as well as attempting to video our clients and put up on our YouTube and Facebook pages, so stay tuned!

Survey ImageThrough our email newsletter, we concluded our first survey with over 100 respondents. This survey was a way for us to gauge our services, how we are doing and what else we can be doing. Although this survey was geared more towards the manufacturing side, many writers participated and your feedback was extremely valuable. Over 30% of you have been working with LBM for over 4 years and 67% were highly satisfied with our services with 13% satisfied and 11% neutral on that question. Of course, we were very happy with the results, but also concerned with the 1.7% that was not satisfied. So, in reviewing the survey we have found a couple of areas we need to improve on.

First, response time. Although, we rated high on response time, a couple people felt ignored. That is not permissible in our book. So, now when you send in a request for products or a question, we will respond to let you know that we are putting your order in or forwarding your question on to the correct person. All too often we were putting in orders and / or forwarding your questions and not letting you know, so you had no idea where your product was or if we even received your email. Now, that's changed. Plus, when you put in an order, we will send you a confirmation of that order too.
There was one other issue in people receiving press releases and our newsletters - email addresses changing. If you change your address, please let us know. We check our spam and junk mail daily to correct any emails, but if we don't have your most current contact info we cannot update our lists. Also, if you are not receiving our email newsletter and have signed up for it, let us know.

It's our goal to serve our clients to the best of our abilities, and to also serve our industry writers, who without you, we'd be out of business! For this survey, we offered a $100 Visa Card and we randomly drew a number for the winner. This month, we'd like to congratulate Richard Mann for winning.

LBM Launches Survey for Writers and Editors
 
We at LBM would like to announce the launce of our second survey tailored for our writers. This survey will only take 5 minutes of your time and your input will help our clients better understand how to make your jobs easier. You'll find questions on types of communications, images and events. All suggestions will be very welcome - there is no wrong answer here!  
 
Additionally, if you complete our survey, you will automatically be entered into our raffle. Grand prize is a goody bag of products from our esteemed clients. The survey will be running through the month of January and the winner of the raffle will be announced the first full week of February.
