STRONG COMMUNITIES CAMPAIGN

The R.F. Wilkinson Family YMCA has launched its Strong Communities Campaign to aid individuals and families in need, so that they can participate in YMCA programs and services. Funds raised directly support the Y's cause of strengthening communities by nurturing the potential of every youth and teen, improving the community's health and well-being and providing opportunities to "pay it forward" by helping your neighbors.

Providing financial support is critical to the Y's goal of ensuring that everyone has access to programs and services that support their individual health and well-being.

At the R.F. Wilkinson Family YMCA, we count on the generosity of our donors and volunteers to make a meaningful impact on our community. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.

For more information about how you can help change our community by helping others contact Michael Bennett at michael.bennett@peninsulaymca.org

CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

At The YMCA Child Development Center we believe that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring and discovery.

This fully-accredited NAEYC center, located at Colonial Williamsburg, has a curriculum that includes sharing and conversation, stories and songs, as well as creative art and crafts activities.  Large muscle activities, cooking projects and exposure to shapes, numbers, colors and letters are also offered.

Teachers use learning centers in play-based curriculum to offer challenging activities in all developmental areas.
