EXCITING CHANGES - SAME MISSION 
| | | It is an exciting time in the YMCA movement! Recently, our national organization, the YMCA of the USA, launched a new branding strategy which includes a new logo and the introduction of three areas of focus: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This new spin on our old favorites allows the YMCA mission "to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all" to be clearer and louder than ever before.
Our YMCA plans to roll out the new brand over the course of the next sixteen months; we invite you to share in our excitement as we embrace and begin the changes! |

Be on the lookout for swim lesson and swim team registrations. Several new aquatic classes have been added and the schedule has been revamped to include an assortment of morning and night classes For more information contact Caitlin O'Hara, Aquatics Director, at (757) 229-9622.

We always have a need for volunteers! A variety of opportunities such as Welcome Center greeter, admin support, member retention ambassador, wellness program ambassador, and youth/child watch volunteers are available. Contact Crystal Brown for more information.
Friendly reminder: Participation in group exercise classes is not permitted five minutes after class has started. This ensures that the class begins on time and the safety of members. |
| PRESCHOOL AND SCHOOL AGE REGISTRATION | | | Registration for the School Age program is currently ongoing. The R.F. Wilkinson Family YMCA serves the following area schools: Magruder, Matoaka, Waller Mill, Matthew Whaley, Norge, DJ Montague, Stonehouse and J. Blaine Blayton. Transportation to school from the YMCA and back to the Y after school is provided. PDF
