Fall Fest

Join us Friday, October 30th for our annual Family Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat!

Free for the whole family, this event will host a number of activities starting at 6:30pm and continuing on until 8:30pm.  Activities include carnival games, arts & crafts, and Trunk or Treat.  Trunk or Treat offers children the opportunity to Trick or Treat in a safe environment while having fun at the R. F. Wilkinson Family YMCA's Fall Festival.  Sign up to decorate your vehicle's trunk and pass out goodies.

Members are asked to bring canned goods or non-perishable food items for admission.  Your donation will help provide food for families this Thanksgiving.

New this year - First Annual Corn Hole Tournament.  Sign up your two person team - $15 per team - no later than October 26th.  Proceeds benefit our Strong Communities Campaign.  The Strong Communities campaign makes Y programs affordable and accessible to all.  Families who cannot afford the full price of programs and child care can receive financial assistance scholarships.

If you would like to participate in Trunk or Treat or the Corn Hole Tournament, please see the Welcome Center or Julie Greene at 757.229.9622 ext. 202 for more information.  Fall Fest Flyer

New Cycling and Cardio Equipment Policies

In order to best serve our members, the YMCA strives to maintain consistency and quality standards across all of our locations. New procedures for Group Cycling participation and Cardio Equipment use in Wellness Centers have been adopted and will be effective on October 4.

Follow these links to review the new policies:  Cardio Equipment Etiquette, Cycle Class Etiquette

At the YMCA, we recognize changes require an adjustment period for our members and staff.  We look forward to assisting all of our members in maintaining their healthy lifestyle through participation in our programs.
