Terre Foods plans to have a sizeable presence at White Violet Center's 12th Annual Earth Day Celebration at St. Mary of the Woods on Saturday, April 17th from 11am-3pm. (Visit www.whiteviolet.org for more information.) We will have an information booth, a food stand offering lunch salads and snacks, and we will also be operating the local meats grilling stand. This event is a lot of fun, but we need some help!
-Volunteers to grill burgers and brats and assemble sandwiches
-Volunteers to run the check-out for sandwich sales
-Volunteers to run the lunch salad stand (serve dishes and take sales)
-Food donations for the lunch salad stand--see below
**If you're interested in volunteering to work at the Earth Day event, please contact Membership Committee volunteer, Jessica Livingston at jlivingston2828@gmail.com.
Last year, we had a lunch salad stand that brought in $300 and sold out in less than 2 hours! This is a great way to earn a few extra dollars for the co-op. Examples of last year's lunch items include: lentil and grain salads, green salads, hummus and vegetable trays, pita sandwiches, potato salad, etc.

Donated items must include a list of ingredients on an index card. If you'd like to get your serving dish returned to you, please make arrangements with Lori.
