PARAMOUNT PARK MURCIA - THE LATEST NEWS
Yesterday should have seen the most positive step forward yet in this project development. The group behind the scheme - PREMURSA - were due to complete their purchase of the land at Alhama de Murcia for just under €16m.
It is widely agreed that they would not buy this land unless they were confident that funding had been found to complete the development. However, some legal issues prevented the deal being signed yesterday and instead an extension was signed to keep the purchase option open for a further month.
This development will be the best thing to happen to Murcia in recent history - the resort is expected to bring 3m visitors per year to the region. When you consider that currently Murcia attracts 700,000 foreign visitors per year, one can appreciate the massive boost this park will give the region. Construction is due to start soon with completion expected 2015.

CORVERA AIRPORT - THE LATEST NEWS
Work is almost complete at the swanky new airport, which you can see in the video link below.
We are informed that discussions between the airport operators and the airlines are at an advanced stage and it is likely that routes into Murcia will be increased dramatically when the airport opens. Originally planned for full opening this November, it is anticipated that flights from Corvera could start this Summer.
Increased routes into Murcia will be another boost to the region - flights are expected from areas which are not currently connected to Murcia and flight times will be more flexible, making Murcia a more attractive destination to fly into. To see the video click the link below:-

MOSA TRAJECTUM - PLANNED IMPROVEMENTS
CAM bank has taken possession of the town centre at mosa Trajectum resort after the developer went into liquidation. It is likely that they will put the commercial area under professional management and we would expect the facilities to imporve over the coming months.
There are also plans to improve other parts of this resort. Planned improvements include re-launching the resort with the building of a 4-star hotel (with work to start in April this year), re-modelling of the golf courses and the construction of a water reservoir.
Mosa Trajectum could be one to consider as a longer term investment and currently we have some bargain 2-3 bed apartments for sale and also some huge villas discounted from 1.5m to 360k - contact us for info. |
