He struck the rock, so that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed. My people have abandoned Me, the fountain of living water and have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all! O Lord, all who turn away from You will be disgraced. They will be buried in the dust of the earth, for they have abandoned the Lord, the fountain of living water. If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."
