JeppView developments
The long awaited interface for the Garmin GPSMAP 695 and 696 which was released at Oshkosh this year has finally been implemented by Jeppesen Europe - although at this moment only for IFR charts. VFR charts should follow in the not too distant future. Geo-referenced approach charts show the position of the aircraft on the approach chart during flight thereby enhancing situational awareness.
 |
|
Charts can be zoomed and scrolled. Use of JeppView on the Garmin GPS 695 / 696 requires a ChartView Key ( to be purchased from www.flygarmin.com ) and a JeppView bundle for Garmin - contact us for more details or come to the shop for a demonstration.

more JeppView.....
Did you know that there is also a JeppView app for the iPad? Even better the app is free! Now JeppView users ( both IFR and VFR ) can use JeppView on the iPad. Why carry kilos of paper with you when you can have all you need in electronic form?

Scrolling, zooming and panning could not be easier - curious? Come and see the system working in the shop. |
