Greetings!

The new flying season is just around the corner so now is the time to make sure your charts are up to date and to think about updating your GPS database or your navigation software - more important now with the major changes in Dutch airspace..

We expect the 2009 edition of The Low Countries within the next two days. The French and German ICAO charts are now also in stock as well as the new edition of Southern England.

Order online and pay by iDeal

Customers with a Dutch bank account who have access to internet banking can now pay for their online purchases at www.pilotshop.nl using iDeal - secure and safe internet banking transactions. For customers in Germany we plan to add ELV as well in the near future.

Jeppesen VFR/GPS Charts

The 2009 editions of the VFR/GPS Charts of The United Kingdom (except EG/LF), Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands, Italy and Germany are now available.

Jeppesen are also extending the VFR/GPS chart coverage to include the USA and the first charts are in stock, covering Florida and Georgia. Jeppesen are also producing area charts for the USA, covering in greater detail Class B airspace. Tampa and Miami are currently in stock. Eventually the series will cover the full USA.

Airspace changes in The Netherlands

With effect from 12th March there will be major changes to the airspace in The Netherlands. The current SRZs to the North and South of Schiphol will be replaced by an extension to the CTR covering the same area - don't get caught out. At the same time Soesterberg CTR and TMA will be withdrawn as will be EHR-10. Valkenburg CTR also goes but the ATZ remains.
