There will be no newsletter this week. This week I am fulfilling a decades-long dream of hiking the Grand Canyon. I will be hiking down from the north rim on the North Kaibab Trail (14.2 miles,  5,850 foot change in elevation), spending the night at the bottom at Phantom Ranch, and hiking out at the south rim on the Bright Angel Trail (7.8 miles, 4,460 foot change in elevation).  Wish me luck and I'll let you know in two weeks how it went.
