Greetings Science Fans!

As some of you may have noticed, there have been some changes made to our website, specifically for event sign-ups.  Once all of our changes are complete, we will have a streamlined and simple way to let us know that you would like to attend our events!

How it will work: All our users will be asked to create a profile that provides us with some basic information about yourself such as your interest in science, or your educational background.  This data will be helpful to us as we curate our events to bring together people from all backgrounds, and help us when we need to reach out to our network for other invitational events that we hold.

As I'm sure some of you have experienced already, the process still has a few bugs to work out.  We have a ton of amazing events coming up over the next few weeks, and we certainly don't want any of our members to miss out.

We've posted all of our upcoming events below.  If you would like to be placed on our list for public sign-ups for these events, please send Megan, your kindly event planner, an email with the following:

1) Your name
2) Your phone number
3) The name and date of the event(s) you would like to attend

We can't wait to hear from you!

Join Science House for an afternoon
of theater and science
Science House has reserved 15 tickets for the Ensemble Studio Theatre's presentation of PHOTOGRAPH 51, an exploration of the work of Rosalind Franklin (play description below). Join us on Sunday, November 14th at 3pm for a matinee performance, followed by a talk-back hosted by Science House and featuring Jenny Listman. There are a limited number of spots available, and RSVP's are a must! London, 1953. Scientists are on the verge of discovering what they call the secret of life: the DNA double helix. Providing the key is driven young physicist Rosalind Franklin. But if the double helix was the breakthrough of the 20th century, then what kept Franklin out of the history books? A play about ambition, isolation, and the race for greatness. Send us an email if you are interested in joining us.
