We hope you enjoyed the holidays. Hard to believe that was more than a month ago! We enjoyed the stories and pictures you shared (like the beaming face of a 17-year-old pulling his brand new BRE spook out of the box on xmas morning). We ran out of stock of a few popular items, which we now have replenished as you'll see below.
We continue to get settled in our new location in NV. Our plans for an open house (open shop?) continue to get pushed back as other projects still have us traveling quite a bit. The good news is that as of last week everything is now here in NV. That's a good start, right?

Back in Stock! BRE Datsun Pedal Sets

When we first offered these attention-getting pedals in December we thought they'd go fast... and they did. Sold out within just a few days, we now have additional stock of the full 510 pedal set (above left) and the two-pedal set for Zs (right). As these are time-intensive parts (= real craftsmanship) and we aren't able to have them made in large quantities, we suspect that once again they will go fast. So don't wait... A final large move out of WA State last week involved a 26' transporter with the 1969 BRE Baja 510 towed behind. Datzilla got the VIP treatment, riding in an Aerovault. It was a fun trip with many "thumbs up" along the way. |

 We are now able to offer Roadster owners the same high quality car cover we've been offering 510s and Zs. Thanks to Jon, in NC, who tested the fit of this car cover on his beautiful Datsun 2000 Roadster (at left), you can see the protection you can now provide your car (more photos on the website).
We've taken the design of our original BRE car covers in the '70s and upgraded them to today's state-of-the art fabrics for indoor and outdoor all-weather protection. The 3-layer fabric used for these covers has a soft touch, and at half the weight of similar covers, it's easy to work with.
The Three Layer Protection consists of 1) a top layer that protects against rain, snow, tree sap and bird droppings. 2) a middle layer that filters out dust and other airborne pollutants that eat paint (e.g. acid rain). 3) a bottom layer that is fully breathable, allowing air circulation that dries a wet cover quickly and prevents under-cover heat buildup. This cover is mildew resistant as well as protects your pride and joy against dings.
These covers are custom made. They will retain their tailored shape over time and won't shrink or stretch. They are held tight to your car with integrated bottom-edge elastic and there are fabric covered grommets you can use to cable lock your cover without scratching your car.
Also, due to requests you've sent us, we offer a bag for the car covers which is also custom made to match the material of the cover. The bag is generously sized for easy "stuffing" and unstuffing and will keep your cover clean (and contained) when not in use.

Over the last year we've received several requests to offer our high-quality trailer accessories without requiring the purchase of a trailer! We must admit we are ourselves smitten with the quality of the tie-downs, axle straps, tarp straps and battery chargers we offer. Check out here the numerous types and lengths of straps we offer.
 For the straps we've chosen different colors for the different lengths so you can easily grab the strap you need without having to measure their lengths each time.
These CTEK battery chargers are the best we've ever used. We use them on all of our cars and our trailer. We share the details here of why we think so highly of them. |

 We haven't been cleared to say much yet so let's just point out: 1) the #46 BRE Datsun 510 HotWheels car is approaching sold out status in record time. 2) success with the car has gotten Mattel's attention. 3) Mattel's a smart company so maybe they want to expand this success? More info will be out in the coming months (in fact, you're so good at finding out information you'll probably see an announcement from Mattel before they tell us we can share info publicly). In the meantime, if you haven't yet gotten your #46 BRE Datsun 510 car, you probably don't want to wait! |
