Neversink Mountain Hike:
The Dark Side of the Resort Years - Stories of Murder and Mystery on the Mountain in the early 1900s
1:00-4:00pm

Come hear stories of murder and mystery as we hike the trails of Reading's Mountain. Neversink Mountain enthusiasts, Paul Druzba and Larry Lloyd will also show us properties that have been protected by the Berks County Conservancy, and will discuss the rich history of this 900 acre natural treasure.  The Conservancy has been purchasing land on the mountain for several years in an effort to preserve the mountain for public enjoyment.

This moderate hike will last from 1:00PM until 4:00PM.  Meet us in the back of Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton at 1PM.

Donations collected the day of the hike are $3 for members/$5 for non-members. Please call our office at 610-372-4992 to register and for directions.

Our goal of this program is to encourage a greener community through simple, everyday choices people make that effect the quality of life in Berks County. The report will contain actionable data and will provide readers with new ideas to try on their own.
