Meet at Egleman's Park on Hill Road. Approximately 4 miles round trip. Please RSVP to Kathy Seyler at the Berks County Conservancy at 610-372-4992 ext. 100 or kathy.seyler@berks-conservancy.org.
Angelica Trail Dedication focused on connecting people to nature
The Berks County Conservancy opened the Angelica Creek Trail on Friday, May 29th, with over 100 trail enthusiasts, community leaders, and environmental club students in attendance.

The Angelica Creek Trail connects to Kenhorst Borough, Angelica Creek Park and the Schuylkill River Trail. Users can walk, bike, and enjoy the wonderful near mile long pathway to the city owned Angelica Creek Park from Ken Grill Recreation Center.

Guests to the dedication were given an opportunity to take a guided walk along the trail, learn about native plants and wildlife, and enjoy the discussions of their favorite trails in the community.

To visit the newly opened trail, you can park at Angelica Park or the Ken Grill Recreation
Center located at 730 High Blvd in Kenhorst. Click here for a map of the trail.

The Russell L. Hiller Charitable Trust Fund of Berks County Community Foundation and the  William Penn Foundation made this project possible.
Where is THIS Special Place?
In issues of our Enews, "Conservation in Your Community," we usually feature a special place in Berks.
This time, we want you to guess one of the special places in Berks County.
Tell us where this photo is taken and email it to kim.lewis@berks-conservancy.org

If you are correct and we randomly select you from our submissions, you will win an item from our Berks Conservancy store.

Congratulations to Lidia Zidik, who guessed our last issue's photo - the Penn Street Bridge looking into the City of Reading!
