Details on DEP Webinar on Revised Septic Regulations Now Available

As a reminder, on June 7, 2012 at 2:30 p.m., the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and New Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) will host a webinar on the amended regulations previously adopted by the DEP on April 2, 2012. 

 

The DEP will conduct this webinar for REALTORS® and members of the public to provide information and answer questions specific to the aspects of the regulation pertaining to real estate transactions. If you have any questions you would like the DEP to provide information on during the webinar, please provide them to Bruce Shapiro of NJAR® via e-mail at bshapiro@njar.com no later than June 1, 2012.

In The News

 

Congress passed and sent to President Obama a 60-day extension of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) yesterday (5/30/12), which was set to expire today. The legislation gives lawmakers breathing room to look at a long-term extension and reform of the program, which NAR strongly supports.

Our condolences to Michael Shetler of Keller Williams Village Square on the loss of his father.

 

 

It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the sudden passing of Nancy Larsen.  She was a  much admired member of the RealSource family of REALTORS® and shared her knowledge and talent as a member of the Orientation Committee.There will be a service for her next Saturday at St. Elizabeth's Church in Ridgewood at 11am with a reception directly afterward in the church hall.
