Here are some of the frequently asked questions we get about fundraising:

Q: Why should I set a fundraising goal?
A: The most successful fundraisers are those who set goals high - it shows your commitment to our mission.

Q: My company does not have a matching gifts program. May I get credit for a matching gift from one of my donors if they have a matching gift program at their company?
A: Matching gifts are credited to you whether it comes from your company or one of your donor's. Please include the matching gift form with the donation, so that we can process the donation appropriately.

Q: How much of my donation goes towards the mission?
A: Of you donation, 100% will go directly towards the mission of Moving to End Sexual Assault. All the
expenses are covered by the registration fee and our generous sponsors.

Q: How do I turn in my off-line donations?
A: Use the deposit slips from the back of this guide to accompany your donations. Clearly indicate your name, address, and phone number on the deposit slip. Also, write your name in the memo section of each donation check. You can turn in the money a few different ways:

Bring it with you to the Event and hand it in during check-in.

Q: Will my donors receive a tax letter or receipt from MESA?
A: Yes! Everyone will receive a thank you letter that serves as a tax receipt.
