Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) Aims to Build Bridges between Alumni and Students |
|
My name is Joe Griebel and I am a senior at UCCS, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I grew up in Colorado Springs, and I am the third in my family to attend this fine institution. This is my second year as President of Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow. "STAT," as we are better known, is a student-run group focused on bridging the gap between students and alumni, while simultaneously enabling current students to feel a greater connection to the UCCS campus community. We do this through connecting students with their peers as well as with other alumni. In addition, we have numerous campus events throughout the year that are open to all UCCS students, alumni and faculty. In just 3 years, STAT has already had a significant impact on this rapidly-changing campus and the scope of our influence is continuing to grow with continued student and alumni support. For more information, email stat@uccs.edu or add us on Facebook, search word: STAT.
