| Important Message for all Eucharistic Ministers |

 This year in the Diocese of Clevelend all current and new Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Ministers) must receive Diocesan training in order to continue this ministry after January, 2010. JCU Campus Ministry will coordinate your registration, pay your registration fee and provide transportation to several training locations. Please complete the registration by September 1st in order to sign up for the training. Click HERE to register.

| Manresa Retreat Team Applications Available |
 All former Marnesa Retreat participants are invited to click here to download an application for Manresa 16 Retreat Team. Meetings will be on WEDNESDAY nights from 9:15-11:00 PM and the retreat will be November 13-15th at Villa Maria Retreat Center. This is a great opportunity to explore and deepen your spirituality while serving and leading others. Contact Paula Fitzgerald for more information. Deadline is September 15th.

 The Catholic Church has established a process, known as Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) for all those wishing to explore the Catholic faith and consider receiving the sacraments in the Roman Catholic faith tradition. If you would like to know more about the Catholic faith, or if you are wondering about whether you would like to receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation or First Eucharist, then consider joining our Inquirers group which will meet on Sundays at 7:00 pm starting September 13th. August/September Mass collections will benefit the Fatima Family Center.
The Fatima Family Center is a non-profit social service center in Cleveland's Hough neighborhood supported by Catholic Chartiies. JCU has a strong partnership with the Fatima Center that includes service learning placements, the Fatima Food Drive, and a legal fair staffed by JCU alumni. |
