Community luncheon to follow in Schott Dining Hall
Note: Service will be from the Dining Hall, with dessert and drinks and seating in LSC, Murphy and the Faculty Dining Room (now O'Day).
There will be a shortened academic schedule to allow students the opportunity to attend both the mass and the luncheon.

| TAG: First Year Retreat - September 20th |
A great way to meet other students and to reflect on faith and college life - all in the surroundings of a beautiful state park. Join a team of sophomore students and JCU Resident Ministers on Saturday, September 20th from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM for a day of large and small group sessions, prayer, and time to enjoy Punderson State Park. Open to all first year students - no prior retreat experience necessary. Click here to download the registration form or see the Resident Minister in your hall. Forms will also be available after Masses on Sunday, August 31st. Registration deadline is Monday, September 15th or when all spots are filled. Cost is $20 - financial assistance is available. The Catholic Church has established a process, known as Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) for all those wishing to explore the Catholic faith and consider receiving the sacraments in the Roman Catholic faith tradition. If you would like to know more about the Catholic faith, or if you are wondering about whether you would like to receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation or First Eucharist, then consider joining our Inquirers group which will meet on Sundays at 8:00 pm starting September 21st. The Fatima Family Center is a non-profit social service center in Cleveland's Hough neighborhood supported by Catholic Chartiies. JCU has a strong partnership with the Fatima Center that includes service learning placements, the Fatima Food Drive, and a legal fair staffed by JCU alumni. |
