There will be a shortened academic schedule to allow students the opportunity to attend both the mass and the luncheon.

Remembering Dr. Miles Coburn
Dr. Miles CoburnOn Wed., September 3rd the John Carroll University community will gather in the Dolan atrium for a celebration of the life of Dr. Miles Coburn.  Click here to view a memorial website has been created and provides information about Dr. Coburn's many contributions along with a guestbook. Details about an upcoming memorial bike ride event are also available.

TAG: First Year Retreat - September 20th
A great way to meet other students and to reflect on faith and college life - all in the surroundings of a beautiful state park.  Join a team of sophomore students and JCU Resident Ministers on Saturday, September 20th from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM for a day of large and small group sessions, prayer, and time to enjoy Punderson State Park.  Open to all first year students - no prior retreat experience necessary.

RCIA The Catholic Church has established a process, known as Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) for all those wishing to explore the Catholic faith and consider receiving the sacraments in the Roman Catholic faith tradition.  If you would like to know more about the Catholic faith, or if you are wondering about whether you would like to receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation or First Eucharist, then consider joining our Inquirers group which will meet on Sundays at 8:00 pm starting September 21st.  Call Gail Roussey at ext. 4766, or e-mail at groussey@jcu.edu.

The Fatima Family Center is a non-profit social service center in Cleveland's Hough neighborhood supported by Catholic Chartiies.  JCU has a strong partnership with the Fatima Center that includes service learning placements, the Fatima Food Drive, and a legal fair staffed by JCU alumni.
