Day of Silent Prayer & Reflection

A day of reflection at Jesuit Retreat House with options for brief presentations on spirituality, one-on-one conversations with spiritual guides or just a chance to reflect and pray in an atmosphere of silence.

"A Taste of Judaism"

Join us as we host Rabbi Matthew Eisenberg, for "A Taste of Judaism" - three Thursday sessions in February (7th, 14th and 21st) from 12:05-1:00 in the Campus Ministry Conference Room (formerly known as the President's Dining Room). Click HERE for more information.

Sacrament of Confirmation

John Carroll, in conjunction with Gesu parish, is offering an adult confirmation class this spring, which will lead to confirmation at the Easter vigil at Gesu Parish on Saturday, March 23^rd. If you are a practicing Catholic and received the sacraments of Baptism and First Eucharist, please contact Gail in campus ministry (ext. 4766) to find out the details.

Have time to pray?

Along with our regular liturgical schedule - there are several other opportunities for folks to gather for prayer:

Every Tuesday and Thursday, we have a group that prays the Rosary after the mass in Rodman chapel. The rosary usually starts around 5:35pm.

Duran, Ecuador On weeknights (Monday through Friday) we have Night Prayer in the St. Francis Chapel at 9pm. Newcomers are always welcome and encouraged to join in!

After the Murphy Mass (Murphy Chapel on Wedsnesdays at 9:30pm), a group stays for about 1/2 hour of Eucharistic Adoration.

Join us when you can!

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Join us for "Praise and Worship" every Tuesday at 9:30 PM in Rodman Chapel!

Bible Study - always a good thing!

Join us for Bible Study on Wednesdays at 2pm in the Campus Ministry Conference Room (formerly known as the President's Dining Room). We will begin this Wednesday - January 16th. Bring a friend!

Do you know faculty members deserving of the Lucrezia Culicchia Award?

Do you know a faculty member (College of Arts and Sciences only) who excels in classroom teaching, is a campus leader and has demonstrated creative teaching methodology or course development? Nominations for the Lucrezia Culicchia Award for Teaching Excellence are now being accepted by the Office of the Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences. As members of a community, it is important to take the time to recognize and highlight the contributions of those who excel and thereby inspire others.
