A Review of Our Priority of Admissions
As part of our Strategic Planning process, the Committee reviewed the school's admissions policies. After review by the Committe, in cooperation with the Diocese, our four Pastors have approved the following priority rankings, effective immediately:

Priority Rankings are:
  • Priority one-Siblings of current Serra families.
  • Priority two- children of registered parishioners at our founding parishes,  Holy Trinity, Saint Kilian, San Francisco Solano or Santiago de Compostela based on active participation at the parish, subject to remaining, available spaces.
  • Priority three- Once applications from registered families have been considered, applications from Catholic families who are not registered with one of our four parishes will be reviewed for consideration.
  • Priority four- Applications from non-Catholic families who have received approval from one of our pastors or the lead pastor will be reviewed for consideration. Serra is currently less than 5% non-Catholic. Maximum % of non-Catholics registered in any school year will be 5% of the current enrollment.
Non-Catholic students are expected to participate in all Catholic religion classes and Catholic events at Serra.

Wednesday, March 24th at 7:00 p.m. - Student Activity Center

2009-2010 Annual Fund Update
Thank you to the 107 Serra families who have made their Annual Fund donation for the 2009-2010 school year. Our goal is always to gain 100% participation, so you see with only 16% of the families participating to date, we have a ways to go. Please take a moment today to consider your contribution. The average gift ranges from $25 to $100, and all donations are greatly appreciated. You may submit your check in the envelope provided in the Annual Report, or simply place a check in your weekly envelope with "Annual Fund" entered in the memo section.
The Annual Fund continues to be a vital part of the Development Program at Serra, working to secure the future stability of our school. The funds raised this year will benefit our sports programs with needed field equipment, as well as a portion to Serra's Endowment, Tuition Assistance and Teacher Professional Development funds.  All donations are tax deductible and put us one step closer to our goal!
Please contact Laurie Beach at ext. 171 with any questions.
