Registration - 2010-2011 Serra Catholic School Budget Presentations
We are looking forward to our families returning for the 2010-2011 school year. We are very excited to share with you the goals for the upcoming year, the implementation of our new Strategic Plan, and in an effort to be truly transparent, a full budget presentation, including 2010-2011 Tuition and Fees. We have scheduled two parent meeting nights for these presentations. Please plan to attend on ONE of these evenings:
     Monday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
     Wednesday, March 24th at 7:00 p.m.
Registration packets will be available at these meetings. We hope that at least one parent from each family will attend one of these important meetings as our goal is to keep you informed and to help you to be an active part of our school.

Operation Rice Bowl
Each year millions of U.S. Catholics put their faith into action by participating in Operation Rice Bowl and reach out in solidarity with all members of our one human family. As one of the principles of Catholic Social Teaching/Social Justice, solidarity reminds us that regardless of our differences, we are called to recognize the dignity of every human life and love our brothers and sisters around the world. In doing this we come to realize we share the same goals, and by acting as one, we are able to promote a culture of respect.
With contributions made through Operation Rice Bowl, Catholic Relief Services works to alleviate human suffering and foster charity and justice in countries around the world.
Serra students took home cardboard rice bowls, a concrete symbol of hunger, and are being encouraged to fill them as part of their Lenten sacrificial contribution to those in need.  A little bit of change can go a long way, especially when a lot of people are collecting it. Please support and join our Serra students in this Lenten project.
