Santa Secret Shop is Here!
What is Santa Secret Shop? Santa's Secret Shop is an annual Christmas event that allows your children the fun of shopping at their very own school. They will learn some shopping skills and gain a boost in self-esteem as the "joy of giving" becomes a personal experience for them. Imagine the excitement you'll see on your child's face when you open the gifts he or she picked out all by himself or herself! When is Santa Secret Shop? The event is held at school in the Library, from Monday November 30th until Tuesday, December 8th. Students shop during their designated class time. Students will not be allowed to shop at recess, lunch or after school. The shopping make up day is Wednesday, December 9th. An information flyer, student's shopping schedule and shopping envelopes will be enclosed in Today's Weekly Envelope. CLICK HERE for more information, or visit us on the web at Parents > Parent Teacher Organization > PTO Santa Secret Shop.
Santa's Helpers needed! Interested in volunteering and joining in the fun? There are two ways you can help: As a cashier helping check out the items purchased and handling the money exchange from students. Or gift wrapping the student's purchases when they are done shopping and when we say wrap we mean "stuff and staple". Contact Kim or Kari at secrectsantashop@gmail.com by Wednesday, November 18th if you are interested in being a part of the fun! |
