A Message from the Principal:
October is the official month of the Rosary. Please join me in saying a decade of the Rosary each day in thanksgiving of the many blessings that have been bestowed on our community this year.
Thank you to all of our families for helping to kick-off the 2009-2010 school year! We have truly been blessed here at Serra with the time, gifts, and many talents of our families.
I would like to take this opportunity to review the support of our After School Sports Teams. How exciting is it that we can once again be the HOME team to many of our sports teams? This is the first time in recent years that our students in Extended Care can attend an on-site sports event to support their Serra Bears!
While it is exciting to stay after school to cheer on classmates, we have noticed that a number of students have been left without adult supervision during our home games.
For the safety of our students, if your child would like to stay after school to attend a game, they must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. If a student is not accompanied by an adult, they will be checked into our Extended Care program and the appropriate fees will be charged. |
