We Wish You Were Here!

May 31, 2012

Greetings!

We wish you were here!

So many of us are experiencing rapidly increasing religious diversity in our families, among our friends, at work, in popular culture, and civic life. Those of you who have been supporting us over the years understand this, and we here in New York wish you were here, so that we could support one another and deepen our own stories.

But instead of wishing, we have decided to make it possible for you to be here!  This year, we are adding a significant new programming component to Faith House - a fast-paced, three-day, experience-packed immersion, with more planned for next year.  This first one, Abrahamic Manhattan, is a chance to visit three Muslim, Jewish, and Christian sites and services in New York City with fifteen other pilgrims and your guides, Samir Selmanovic and Bowie Snodgrass.

This plan to open up New York's dynamic religious communities and offer spiritual treasures to people like you, from all around the country and the world, means we need to maintain and further build our network of leaders and communities.

To make this pivoting turn, we need your help. Our mid-year, summer fundraiser is critical for our operations and the impact we can make.  Help us bring others to Faith House and help us bring Faith House around the world.

Help us put in motion something unique, effective, and empowering. Maybe you will be able to join us for an immersion experience, or maybe you will make it possible for others who are agents of change in their context to experience something that can transform them forever.
