Redemption and Rebirth
April 6, 2011
Greetings!

With Passover and Holy Week on the horizon, this is a month filled with times to reflect on the meanings of redemption and rebirth.

This is also the season of renewal and rebirth among the plants and trees surrounding us. Encourage the youth in your life to join in the 5th Annual Day of Interfaith Youth Service we are co-sponsoring, where they will be gardening in the Harlem Success Community Garden! Please see more details about this event on this coming Saturday, April 10th further down in this newsletter.

On April 17th, we join with Romemu and St. Francis Xavier Church to bring you the 3rd Annual Interfaith Seder! Led by Rabbi David Ingber, this annual tradition is way for those of all faiths and no faith at all to share in this celebration of redemption and renewal together. RSVP by email is required, please see the details below.

Not only do we offer you renewal this month, we also have a special offering for renewal for this coming summer. Don't miss out on the first annual Wild Good Festival, with our very own Samir and Bowie hosting the interfatih programming there! See more registration details plus a short video below.

And last but not least, be sure to send in your recipes for the Faith and Food Cookbook using this easy online form! Every contribution to this free community offering enhances the larger collection's value. Be sure to send this form to friends and family as well.
