In a recent poll on Facebook, Bainbridge Islanders were asked what was their favorite neighborhood, and this is what they said...

Lynwood Center!! It has everything I need!!

The south end...Point White and Crystal Springs...raised my kids there, lots of 4th of July's watching the Monroe family in their kilts and bagpies march down the street, fishing on the pier, those wonderful walks from Pt. White to Crystal Springs...great neighbors...life long friends..walks down to Lynwood Center to go to the movies..Walt's where Rhea would call me to tell me they made it safely ion their bikes....Lottie's where they would ride their bikes to get hair cuts, and how sweet she was to them...my middle son Eric rowing the boat down to Walt's to get a gallon of millk (that burned off a lot of "I'm bored" on a summer afternoon!) Those crisp Autumn mornings watching the kids stand at the bus stop with the family dog the sound of the school bus picking them up still etched in my mind...coffee on those quiet mornings watching the Bremerton ferry go by and the sea gulls...heaven!

Lynwood Center, Lytle Beach, Oddfellows Rd area.

Point White...loved the apple fritters at Lynwood Center and the intros to the movies
