The EDGE Improv, January 3
The EGDE Improv hails the New Year with TWO performances January 3. In addition to the regularly scheduled 7:30pm performance, the improvised evening includes a special late-night Helpline House Benefit show at 9:30p.m. The toupe of multi-talented performers has had audiences laughing and cheering for more than fifteen years. Salmonpeople, January 10 - 11
Salmonpeople is theatre so sly it is like going out to dinner with Robin Williams, Garrison Keillor, and Johnny Appleseed; a homespun tapestry of charactern insight, good science, good humor, and astounding freehand cartography. Known as the Bioregional Bard of Salmon Nation, Peter Donaldson has given 34 performances in 23 towns garnering spontaneous standing ovations every time. Mochi Tsuchi Festival, IslandWood This event was rescheduled due to inclimate weather.
New date and time, Sunday, January 18th, 11am - 3pm
Eat mochi for good luck! Help make mochi, the soft dumpling-like rice balls, made by pounding steamed sweet rice in a large stone mortar. Enjoy Taiko drumming performance and tours of IslandWood.
