Independence Day Celebration!
To celebrate our Nation's Birthday, we will serve home brews and wine to any of our customers that stops the store by on Saturday, July 2nd, during our normal business hours. We will also be grilling hot dogs. No purchase is necessary to enjoy the food and beverages. It is just our way of enjoying the weekend and saying thanks to our wonderful customers.
Please note that we will be closed on Monday, July 4th! |

Chocolate Ports Are Back!
We are now taking pre-orders for the limited release ports, ice wines and holiday wines from RJ Spagnols. In addition to the kits from last year, they have added a Coffee Port, as such there are 4 Ports, 2 Ice Wines and 2 Holiday Wines to choose from. The cut-off date is July 29, 2011, but we have a special for those that order before July 5th. To learn about these 8 wine kits and our special, click on the following link:

Large Wine Making Equipment
Our supply of tanks, crusher/de-stemmers and presses is selling fast. These items are only available at this time of year and when they are gone, I will not be able to get anymore until next year. As such, if you need something, don't delay!
Remember, most of these items need to be freighted, so you will need to contact us for a shipping quote. Our shipping rates are extremely competitive, escpecially if you do not need lift-gate service.

We will be having our next bottling party on Saturday, July 30th at the store. We plan to have around 20 carboys, including our wines made from last year's California grapes. The bottling will start at 5 pm and the "work" should be completed by 7 pm. At that time, we will start tasting the wines. If you want to bring something to nibble on, please do, but it is not required.
As always, you will be able to take home 3 bottles of wine per person. We look forward to seeing you! |

Fresh Grapes from California!
It is that time again to start thinking about your grape orders for the fall. We will start taking orders next month and we hope to have at least as many varieties as last year. I have also requested a couple of varietals that I would like, but I will know more next month. I expect the pricing to be similar to last year.

If you have any questions about our products, our service and/or wine making or home brewing, please call us. We are here to serve you and enjoying assisting you in any way we can. We have an international toll-free line so you WILL call us. Someone is usually at the store between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. We always try to answer the phone when you call; however, sometimes, we are unable to answer the phone as we are on the other lines or we have customers in the store. If you get the voice mail, please leave your name, number, brief message and a best time to call. We will return your call just as soon as we can. If you don't want to call, just send us an email. We usually answer our emails daily. Please remember, we are a resource and we are here to serve you.
