Web Site Change (Again)!

Due to several issues with the new web site, I have made the decision to revert back to our original site with some significant improvements.  I anticipate the switch back to happen by mid-month, hopefully sooner.  When the move is made, I will send out an announcement and highlight the changes for you.  I think you will be very happy with the simplicy and amount of content that will be available.

I have updated the wine of the month, but the toys and beers of the month won't change until we change the web site.  Hopefully the change will greatly improve the speed of the site, as well as the ease of placing an order.

Due to increasing costs, Mosti Mondiale will no longer include free labels with any of their wine kits, except the Meglioli's.  In addition, our cost of making the custom labels continues to increase.  As such, when we make the change in web site, the gummed back labels will be $2.99 and the MacDay labels will be $6.99 (before the FVW Grower's Club 10% discount).

This Saturday, May 7^th, is the American Homebrewers Association's annual Big Brew Day, and is also the day when we are having our monthly "How to Brew Day" here at the store. Walter will be brewing on his 10 gallon HERMS (Heat Exchanged Recirculating Mash System) "tippy dump" system.  If you have every had any interest in how a HERMS system works or just wanted to check out one of the larger brew sculptures out there, this is a great opportunity. We will also have an extract brewer brewing a Brewers Best Kit.  No matter your level of experience, feel free to stop by and ask the brewers any questions you may have. The brew day will start around 9:30am and go until around 4pm.

We are starting to see price increases from our suppliers, as well as, an increase in frieght costs.  We have delayed as long as we could, but we are going to have to start raising our prices, slightly.  We expect all of the increases to be in the 1-2% range.
