Someone is usually at the store between 9 am and 7 pm, Monday through Saturday. We always try to answer the phone when you call; however, sometimes, we are unable to answer the phone as we are on the other lines or we have customers in the store. If you get the voice mail, please leave your name, number, brief message and a best time to call. We will return your call just as soon as we can.

WINESTOCK 2007
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This year's Winestock is officially over. For those that attended, I hope you had as much fun as I did and that you had a safe journey home. We had 67 wine makers from across the U.S. who brought more wine that anyone could possible taste.
Scott Irwin, our great forum moderator, gave an excellent presentation of the relationship between acid, pH and sulfur dioxide. Handouts of the powerpoint presentation were presented to the attendees and we make it available for download, later in the month. I received a great deal of praise regarding Kathleen Dignon's discussion of food pairings. She too had handouts and we will also make them available for download. I sure know a lot more about balancing the wine and pairing wines with foods. It was obvious that both Scott and Kathleen spent a great deal of time to get ready and want to express my gratitude to each. Thanks you very much.
In addition, there were lots and lots of pictures taken and we will be posting some on the web site. In the meantime, pictures are starting to show up on the forum, so log in and see for yourself, how much fun we had.

THE MOVE TO THE NEW RETAIL STORE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Believe it or not, we have finally executed the lease for our new 4,000 square foot Retail/Distribution store. The moving schedule is presented below:
- Saturday, October 13, 2007
- Store will close at 2 pm to start loading the pallets.
- As the truck is filled, we will move the pallets and fixtures to the new store.
- Pizza, drinks and wine (after we are finished) will be provided for all that show up.
- Gift certificates will be give to those that help.
Sunday, October 14, 2007
- Starting at 9 am, we will start arranging the fixtures and the shelves.
- Once the shelves are in place, we will start stocking them.
- Breakfast, lunch, drinks and wine (after we are finished) will be provided for all that show up.
- Gift certificates will be give to those that help.
Monday, October 15, 2007 - Open for business at the new location.
If you plan to help, please let us know so we can make sure we have ample food and drinks for all.

MOVING SALE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To reduce the number of heavy items to move which will make the move much faster, we are putting all of our wine kits and glass items on sale for 10% off. This price is reflected in the online catalog and for those in our Grower's Club, you will receive your 5 or 10% off on top of this discount. As a result, you can save almost 20% on these items.
Here are the guidelines for this sale:
- All orders must be placed before the end of day, Sunday, October 7, 2007.
- Orders to be picked up, must be picked up by 6 pm, Friday October 12, 2007.
- Orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If we are out of stock of any items on your order, we will advise you of such and give you the option to wait for delivery until after we move and re-stock or cancel your order.
- If you ask us to ship part of your order and place the out of stock items on back-order, additional shipping costs may be incurred. If so, you will be charged the additional cost.
Due to this sale, there is not a Toy of the Month nor a Wine of the Month. |

MIX AND MATCH SPECIAL!

We know that a lot of you like to try new wines, so we are going to offer 3 different brand of wine kits that are made available only once per year. The cut-off date for these kits varies by manufacture, so we have set a cut-off date for November 30, 2008. If you order after that date, we will do our best to fill your order, but we will not be able to guarantee delivery of your wine kits. In addition, if you order 4 or more before the end of October 2008, we will give you 10% off all of the limited availability kits. If you place your order in November, we will still give you a discount if you order 4 or more, but the discount will only be 5%.
To the best of our knowledge, we are the only Home Wine Making Store in the United States to offer all 3 of these brands. The brands are:

- Mosti Mondiale Meglioli 2008
- RJ Spagnols 2008 Restricted Quantities
We have posted the Mosti Mondiale Meglioli's but the Winexpert and Spagnols wine kits for 2008 have not yet been released, so we do not have that information as of the printing of the newsletter. Please use this link to find out more about this offer and the wine kits that will be available for 2008. We will start taking pre-orders as soon as you want to place your order. There are usually extra kits available after the pre-orders are filled, but to make sure you get yours and the discount, you need to pre-order. As a reminder, your credit card will not be charged until the kits are shipped or picked up. For this reason, PayPal orders will not be accepted unless you pay for the kits when you place the order and please use a credit card that does not expire before the end of May 2008.

CHANGES TO STARTER PACKAGES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In order to allow new wine makers a better opportunity to compare our Starter Packages to our competition, we have removed the packages with a wine ingredients kit from our web site. In conjunction with this change, we significantly lowered the equipment packages and increased the Registration Discount.
We would also like to apologize to anyone caught in the change as it took us several days to eliminate all of the links the referred to a wine ingredients kit included with the equipment kits. If you were one of those customers, please give us a call and we will be happy to honor the old pricing which included the wine kit. | |

We have some extremely knowledgeable wine makers with loads of valuable information willing to assist you in your wine making needs. Responses to most posts are made within minutes. We are also known to have an occasional contest available to forum member only with valuable gifts, savings and coupons!
