Mo and Sienna for March!
Last year I was allowed the pleasure of including Sienna in my photo shoot with Lisa Brewer!
Sienna was a fantastic model, she didn't complain once and was in great shape for our shoot! Knowing my dear friend, Leia Kress, she has her on a strict diet of lettuce, cabbage.. & maybe some carrots too!
Thanks Leia for allowing Sienna to be my real life Easter bunny!

This is Stephanie Spencer from your F.E.M. camp MDR, CA-2007.
First, I wanted to let you know how happy I was to see
you on the AC stage again! YAY! You looked awesome!
Also, I wanted to let you know.. I won the figure overall here in Colorado and will be competing at the USAs
this summer!
Now, I have more great news to tell you too!

magazine! YAY! :-)

Attending your F.E.M. camp has helped me so much in this industry! I will continue to work hard and grow as a figure athlete too!

met her at F.E.M. camp. She is so sweet, I love her and her products.

M&F Top 10!
How exciting was this.. picture me picking up my mail one of the days I wasn't feeling too well a few weeks ago and start to go through mail, when I run across my issue of M&F May 2009 ...
WOW! I had no idea this was going to be there! I made the Top 10 Hottest M&F Women of all Time! I am speechless.. seriously, I was having one of those days were you just kinda feel lousy (physically and mentally!)
This was quite an honor to say the least.. definitely perked me right up! Ha! Ha! Sorry the resolution isn't better.. but if you want to see more images from M&F Gallery, please click the mag shots and you will be taken to the main site for M&F.!
Little bit of useless trivia...The images they chose for this page were from my very first photo shoot back in 1994 with M&F .. photo credit goes to Ralph DeHaan- if it wasn't for him taking me under his wing and giving me the opportunity to do a test shoot.. who knows if I would have gone down the same path!
The last photo on the film strip was taken in 1995 (or96) by Robert Reiff.. the contest shot was from backstage at the Fitness Olympia 1999.. and can't remember who shot that! That was my last Fitness Olympia too!
When I thanked M&F/M&F Her's Editor in Chief, Chris Lockwood, for the fabulous addition to this list, here is his response:
"You are very welcome for being chosen in our list; as the modern day Rachel McLish of women's fitness, putting you on the cover was a no brainer. You've contributed a lot to define the ideal of the sport; was our way of thanking you too!"

LA Muscle TV Filming @ The Europa Show of Champions

Last week we returned from Orlando, FL where I competed in the Europa Pro Figure.
It was a large show, 28 ladies! I haven't been on stage with that many in a very long time.. made my #2 place in the line up tiring! Yes, it can be tiring standing in a 'relaxed, yet poised' position while everyone is introduced!
At any rate, I managed to survive and was overall happy with my 3rd place finish!
I wore my suits that Maggie Blanchard made for the AC- (had to get one more wear out of those pretty suits!) and had the pleasure of having Elaine Goodlad for makeup! She is fast and does a great job! Thanks Elaine!

was as always helpful in every way.. I know I say this every time, but he is such a huge part of
my preparations and has a great eye for details- I rely on him a
lot!
On another note, I am thrilled to be able to hang in
there with all the younger physiques and place in the top spots! Every
show (since my start in 1991!) I have learned something new.. this year
after seeing Kim Oddo at my F.E.M. Camp in Austin (FEB) where we
started posing me a little different than in past shows, I decided it
was time to bring in another helpful eye- (first time ever!).
I
enlisted the help of local NPC judge, Lonn Koentopp, who gave me some
great feedback and advice on breathing of all things! After all these
years, I was breathing wrong on stage.. and no one had ever given me
advice on changing it! I think people assume I know everything and don't
say things to me sometimes.. things that could help..but I needed the help and it made such a
difference for me on stage at both the AC and Europa!
Just goes to show you CAN teach an old filly new tricks! Ha! Ha!
Also,
just to clarify my reason for competing.. I didn't compete at the
Europa for a Figure O qualification.. I earned that at the AC with my
finish there!
The new company I recently signed with, BNRG, asked me to work the show.. so I figured I would go ahead and compete for fun and fans!

We
were able to visit some of Scottie's family afterward too.. whew! It
was a very full weekend.. but lots of fun and great memories! Speaking
of memories...
