Dear Friends and Fans!
(Thank you to Lisa Brewer for some of my favorite photos! taken back in April 08) anksgiving is such a special time of the year, in fact I believe it is my favorite holiday!! I love the fact that everyone (at least I hope everyone!) is taking some time to be thankful for the blessings in their life, no matter how small they seem to be.. we all have some blessings!! God is faithful to provide and give us hope, love and peace when we call on Him! Don't forget to call on Him today and everyday. He is a patient God, just waiting for us to look to Him! I am especially thankful for (my Gift from God)... my hubby, Scott! He is faithful to provide for for me, loving me and helping me to be a better woman!
For this holiday, Scottie's parents flew in from RI for 2 weeks! We have a lot of fun together.. being silly and eating good food! I will have to make sure to get in extra cardio for sure! (Another thank-you to God for putting me right in the middle of some fabulous hills to run for damage control!)
My father in law is the Turkey/Stuffing cooking King and the rest of us will help with all the other sides! My family will also come for the day.. it'll be a full house with the pups (4) and Lucy our kitty cat!
On another note, while I was thinking about Thanksgiving I decided to research a bit of history behind the day of Thanks! If you are interested in it too, please see the side bar and the Proclamation to give Thanks to God by late President John Hanson! Maybe you will find it as interesting as I did!
I am sure there is a lot more info out there, but at least this will get you started!
Of course I can't forget to thank all of you too.. hope you know that I count you all as my blessings in life too!

VIVIX- ANTI AGING POSSION!
|
 Feel
25 Years Younger, Live 25 Years Longer!
Hi
Monica fans!! This is her Mom to tell
you about the awesome product I am taking.
It just came out in August and is the most revolutionary product of this
century- without exaggeration!!
A bit of history on the science behind it...
Dr. David Sinclair is the "Father of the
Anti-Aging Movement" in the 21st century and leading scientist in
the field of anti-aging. He will be
featured on 60 minutes in December and has been interviewed by Barbara Walters
on his amazing discoveries. Some of his
comments include: "Few people know how
far we have come in the aging research... we know how to slow down aging...the
scientific observations for the last 70 years have revealed a slowing down of aging
in lab animals that become resistant to cancer, heart disease, diabetes and
osteoporosis.......it is an extremely safe product that lowers blood sugar in
clinical studies....resveratrol is the most potent molecule against cancer that
we know of (in animal research)...and prevents cancer rather than promotes
it." Our scientist built upon his
research to create Vivix, a product that is not just an antioxidant or a juice,
but a super polyphenol blend that affects 4 areas of cell function to slow down
aging and build cellular protection against diseases. Vivix is 10X more powerful than resveratrol
alone. I am eager to help people in all
these health related areas and reveal the awesome benefits of this
revolutionary product.
Just like Monica, I
want to build better lives, a better world, and a green, safe environment to
help others ... that is why I am trying to inform people about
Vivix. I believe so many could be helped to be healthy and set free of
various illness and disease. A prominent biochemist uses Vivix in her
practice specifically targeting diabetics both Type 1 and Type 2
adults and children with positive results. Another biochemist relates the
biochemistry of Vivix to portray its overall positive results. Clink the link below to see a discussion with Dr. David Sinclair, the leading scientist
on anti-aging research. Anti Aging Discussion!
Vivix supports joint health, heart & cardiovascular health, brain health, increases energy, vitality, protects and repairs cellular DNA, slows age protein formation and so much more!!
The folllowing is a testimony from a young lady who is taking Vivix:
I
do not know where to begin on how Vivix has changed my life. I have
been in constant pain for the last four years suffering with Fibromialgia and
Lupus. I was on all sorts of pain meds and nothing seemed to work. I also tried several
prescriptions to help with the Fibromialgia- still a complete disappointment. I
had guest speakers at our Wine Night speak about the benefits of
Vivix. Of course I am very reluctant to
try anything when the Doctors couldn't even perscribe anything to help me. I
figured why not if it doesn't work I just won't order it again. I was excited
to hear the presentation, signed up that night and waited anxiously for my
Vivix to come in. Deep down in my heart I thought this stuff isn't going to
work. Well I made my self a liar! Within
five days of taking Vivix I stopped hurting.
I would get massaged three times a week before I took this just to keep
functioning. I am on my second bottle and I can honestly say I am pain free! When I went to the Doctor my blood pressure
had dropped to 106 over 60 compared to 170 over 90 wow what a difference. I
would recommend this to anyone that I meet that is in pain.

If you are interested.. one of my favorite verses.. I am praying through it everyday.. if you want to join me.. please read and read daily! Colossians 1: 9-12
For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding... so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience, joyously giving THANKS to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints on light.
(You can pray through this and make the 'we' into 'I' and the 'you' into someone's name .. this makes it more personal and to the point!)

History of the First Thanksgiving!
|
| November 1, 1782.
President John Hanson ORDERED,
that the following Proclamation for a general THANKSGIVING on the
twenty-eighth day of November, received from the honorable
Continental Congress, be forthwith printed, and sent to the several
worshipping Assemblies in this State, to whom it is recommended
religiously to observe said day, and to abstain from all servile labor
thereon. PROCLAMATION:
IT being the indispensable duty of all Nations, not only to offer up their supplications to ALMIGHTY GOD,
the giver of all good, for his gracious assistance in a time of
distress, but also in a solemn and public manner to give him praise for
his goodness in general, and especially for great and signal
interpositions of his providence in their behalf:...

History of the first Thanksgiving...
In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an
autumn harvest feast which is acknowledged today as one of the first
Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. This harvest meal has become
a symbol of cooperation and interaction between English colonists and
Native Americans. Although this feast is considered by many to the very
first Thanksgiving celebration, it was actually in keeping with a long
tradition of celebrating the harvest and giving thanks for a successful
bounty of crops. Native American groups throughout the Americas,
including the Pueblo, Cherokee, Creek and many others organized harvest
festivals, ceremonial dances, and other celebrations of thanks for
centuries before the arrival of Europeans in North America.
Historians
have also recorded other ceremonies of thanks among European settlers
in North America, including British colonists in Berkeley Plantation,
Virginia. At this site near the Charles River in December of 1619, a
group of British settlers led by Captain John Woodlief knelt in prayer
and pledged "Thanksgiving" to God for their healthy arrival after a
long voyage across the Atlantic. This event has been acknowledged by
some scholars and writers as the official first Thanksgiving among
European settlers on record. Whether at Plymouth, Berkeley Plantation,
or throughout the Americas, celebrations of thanks have held great
meaning and importance over time. The legacy of thanks, and
particularly of the feast, have survived the centuries as people
throughout the United States gather family, friends, and enormous
amounts of food for their yearly Thanksgiving meal.
.... More than 200 years later, President Abraham Lincoln declared the final Thursday in November as a National Day of Thanksgiving Congress finally made Thanksgiving an official national holiday in 1941!
